Love this salad dish especially on family gatherings. I just place a big bowl of salad with fresh bread in the middle of the table and I enjoy seeing my guests gorge out. This Greek inspired salad also makes a great side dish with meats and fish. Enjoy!
Simple Traditional Greek Salad Recipe
1. Wash all vegetables before.. Cut the tomatoes into irregular pieces. Peel the cucumbers and make round slices, cut the bell peppers in small pieces as well.
2. Peel the onion and then cut it in half and then in slices. Put all the vegetables in a deep dish, salt them and mix them. Put the Kalamata olives and cubed feta cheese on top.
3. Sprinkle with oregano and salt and then pour a generous amount of olive oil and mix, then serve and enjoy this delicious salad!
Note: Make sure you add the olive oil right before serving otherwise tomatoes will become mushy. You want the tomotoes to be nice and ripe full of flavor.
